Author Spotlight: Fiona Davenport, Sexy Romance with a Kinky Twist

So, I learned something very interesting over the past year. There are authors who are actually co-authors who write as one author. Did I lose you yet? And this is not uncommon. But I had no idea it was even a thing. I know, I’m new here. Relatively. But there are several authors who actually write as pairs, but instead of placing both of their names on the cover, they use a single pen name. And I freaking love it! What a great way to maintain your individual identity as an author, but also work with someone you vibe with to create a completely new persona for your work together.

Fiona Davenport is one of those authors. In this case, Elle Christensen and Rochelle Paige are the brilliant and talented brains behind Fiona’s books.

Another thing I love is when a bookish friend reads a new-to-them author because that author will be at an event they’re attending. And my bookish friend Jess dove into Fiona’s books when she found out she would be at Charm City Romanticon. So of course I asked Jess, who blogs at Jessie’s Reading Corner for information about Fiona.

Fiona writes short (around 100 pages or less) and spicy stories within the MC (motorcycle club), paranormal (shifter), and contemporary romance subgenres, and readers can expect to find a variety of these throughout her books. If you’re a fan of age gap romances, possessive heroes, virgin heroines, and some insta-love, yeah, you need to read Fiona’s books.

Jess loves that even though Fiona’s books are short, she feels like Fiona’s stories are really well rounded. There’s enough of a plot to keep you interested, and she knows how to write chemistry! And I know we all crave that chemistry between our favorite characters.
