Author Spotlight: Giulia Lagomarsino

Know what happens when one of your book besties who becomes a booksister raves about an author over and over again? You ask them to guest blog for that author’s Spotlight. St@lkerSister Susy raves about Giulia Lagomarsino, so I asked her all the things. And she delivered.
Susy heard about Giulia’s books when someone posted about one in the Protector Romance Reader Group on Facebook. Susy told me, “They mentioned military and protective heroes and I knew I had to add her to my tbr, but I wasn’t expecting a twenty-seven book series. Did I add all twenty-seven and binge read them in a week? Sure did!”
Yep, been there, done that. And when a reader dives in and doesn’t come up for air until they’ve read every book available in a series that long, you know that’s the sign of a fantastic series.
Susy believes readers who like protective romance, romantic comedies, and swoon-worthy heroes/heroines are going to love Giulia’s books. They are heavily focused on military and protector romance, and incorporate elements of found family, bada$$ heroes. Plus, Giulia writes heroines you will fall for instantly. And storylines that will have you fighting over who should be your next book boyfriend
If you’re like Susy, you’re going to get drawn in to Giulia’s stories because, “Her books engage you right from the beginning with their crazy laugh out loud shenanigans, but still tug at your heart with real life events.”
But Susy asked me to pass this warning along as well. “She will make you cry!!! Like, bawl your eyes out, gasping for air, crying!! This was the first romance book that I almost stopped halfway and refused to continue because I was so hurt and mad. But Guilia and her readers insisted I had to continue. Took me three days, but it was worth it!”

I am looking forward to jumping into Giulia’s backlist. I mean, it’s got all the things I love. And I’m really looking forward to meeting Giulia at Charm City Romanticon in April 2024. We’ve been friends on FB for a while, and she is always such a wonderful human to chat with. Being able to give her a hug in person is going to be absolutely wonderful.
