Melanie Moreland’s reputation for heartwarming, low-angst, instalove stories is well earned and appreciated. And she’s upheld that standard yet again with The Wish List. Part of Moreland’s InstaSpark collection, Asher and Rosie’s story brings a happy helping of holiday cheer, as well as some well-placed steam. A struggling single-mom meets lonely billionaire romance, it also offers seriously swoonworthy moments that will leave you reaching for tissues and cuddling your Kindle.
Asher and Rosie are both loveable characters, strong in their own intentions, but little AJ really will really steal your heart. He’s an adorable and integral part of the story, and I truly love the way Moreland builds him into the characters’ lives and love. The story is as fast-paced as Asher and Rosie’s romance, creating a quick and enjoyable read.
The Wish List is a truly standalone story, but is included as part of a collection of instalove stories written by Moreland. While The Wish List takes place around the Christmas and New Years holidays, the other stories in the collection are not specifically holiday based and range from novellas to full-length novels.
