Freya Barker knows how to elevate your heart rate, and she does it incredibly well in Snowbound, a suspenseful and steamy novella certain to warm your heart. I love how she packs so much story into her words. Snowbound was a perfect winter tale to tuck into with some tea and shut out the world for a while. I sat down to read it and devoured it in one sitting. The characters are beautifully well-developed, the suspense ratchets up quickly, and the HEA is absolutely wonderful. This is going to be a definite re-read. It stands alone, and although it is winter-centric with a bit of a holiday theme, it’s a great read anytime.
