I am firmly ensconced in holiday romances, and this was the perfect novella to continue the joy of season. This may be the first Emily Silver romance I’ve read, but it will definitely not be the last. I love a good best friends to lovers romance and this one didn’t disappoint. There’s pining and bi-awakening and a beautiful HEA, but there’s also really beautiful emotional elements that bring lots of feels on the way there.

What I love about it:

  • New beginnings & redefined relationships.

  • Snowball fights

  • An adorable furry sidekick

  • Quick & steamy Christmas romance.

  • Small-town vibes

  • Friends who help you see, understand, and accept the truth

  • Standalone readable, but now I want to see if the other friends have their own book.

    Favorite quote: If it was anyone else, I don’t know if I could explore this side of myself. I wouldn’t have the courage to do so. To feel safe to do so.
