A Season for Christmas

I could not have chosen a better personal introduction to historical romance than Golden Angel’s A Season for Christmas. I honestly cannot tell you how angry I am with myself for waiting so long to dive into this subgenre. I can definitely confirm I will not be waiting long to wade back into the historical waters, and I know Golden Angel’s books will be a the top of my historical tbr.

What I love about A Season for Christmas:

• A very spicy, one-sitting, historical romance.

• Interconnected standalone that left me wanting the other characters’ stories, but I experiences no confusion about them in this one.

• The power dynamics between the strong, independent heroine and a hero who's not afraid to try new things 😉

• Intriguing, well-woven mystery that enhances the plot.

• Two of my favorite tropes: second chance, forced proximity

• Fun Christmas-y homages.
