The HEA I’ve Been Rooting For
Every book series has a character I latch onto early and wait (sometimes not-so) patiently for their story to be told. For Melanie Moreland’s Reynolds Restorations series, that character is Chase Donner. And in Under the Radar he got his well-deserved HEA.
Under the Radar blends Moreland’s familiar instalove theme with a solid external conflict to build a very low angst story with some light suspense. It’s a tale of getting past personal baggage, finding who you are and who has your back, and learning how to move forward with your perfect person. I love that Chase and Hannah’s relationship grew from their meet-cute in a prior book. It’s the perfect opposites attract set-up and works in beautifully with the found family theme in the entire series.
Readers craving a quick and easy read with familiar and much loved characters, an antagonist they can quickly and easily identify and root against, and new faces they’ll swiftly fall in love with will absolutely enjoy Under the Radar. To get the full and most satisfying experience, I highly recommend reading this series in order. Only then will you truly understand why Chase’s HEA, and everything surrounding it, is so perfectly perfect.
