Sing For Me
By Claire Wilder
Sing for Me by Claire Wilder offers the perfect blend of emotions with so much heart. The third book in Wilder’s Quince Valley Romance is a lightly steamy read with genuine and authentic characters who effortlessly pull you into their lives. Add in a little more intrigue with an overarching subplot that follows through the series, and this is a book that brings some wonderful magic.
Wilder does a really beautiful job of building on Eli and Reese’s history, incorporating the second chance and fake dating tropes into a reasonable and realistic storyline. Solid character development goes a long way in helping the reader fall in love with both main characters, and even brings multiple supporting characters into a brighter and more vivid view while setting up a potential future love story.
I particularly love the strength Wilder bestows on Reese and Eli. Strength to overcome their pasts separately and together to really understand and recognize just how good they are together. And why things maybe didn’t work the first time. Plus, the multiple subplots give even more depth to their personalities, as they don’t come across as one dimensional, but rather as complex individuals finding who they truly are, and embracing it.
Sing for Me is part of Wilder’s Quince Valley series, and while it can certainly be read as standalone, I highly recommend reading the series in order. It will give readers much better insight into the family dynamics present throughout the series, and heighten that intrigue created with the background subplot that flows through each book. Definitely a great series and book to settle into a comfy chair with and binge away.
