One Touch

Reader Catnip

One Touch by Lena Hendrix brings all the grumpy/sunshine, small-town feels with the added reader catnip of brother’s best friend and the tantalizing taboo of ex-boyfriend’s brother.  And Hendrix brings it all to life with steamy scenes, fantastic banter, beautiful emotional connections, and a hint of family small-town mystery.

Hendrix pretty well hooked me with book one in her Sullivan Family series, One Look, and I was more than delighted to see so many familiar faces back for book two. While One Touch follows the Sullivan family saga, it can definitely be read as a standalone. The characters are beautifully developed, the plot is solid and engaging, and the HEA is so incredibly worth it.

I appreciated the light angst, and the way Hendrix wove it into who the characters are and the lives they’ve led.   No silly, immature, misunderstandings, just a beautiful recognition that discovering who you are creates space for who you want to be, and want to be with. And that sometimes time and distance can heal so many wounds. And that’s not just between main characters Beckett and Kate.
