Mistle-Ho

Y’all, you need to read this book. Looking for something fun, engaging, entertaining, snortlaugh funny with really beautiful reflections of real life emotions and feelings within larger-than-life hilarity? This is your book. It is my favorite Josie Watts story to-date. (Dare I say even one of my favorite Janice Whiteaker books? Yes, yes I dare.) If you are a fan of Pippa Grant and Kayley Loring, you’ve got to read this book.

What I love about it:

  • On-point humor, all the way through

  • So much delightful & fun banter

  • Down-to-earth characters in hilarious situations I can almost imagine happening

  • A confident, curvy realistic heroine I absolutely adore!

  • Rubgy thighs. Enough said.

  • Chapter 14! New pet, anyone?

  • Fully standalone readable.

My margin notes included:

  • DED! I. Am. F*cking. DED!

  • I just laughed so hard I think I peed a little!

  • ...aaand, I just cackled.

  • Bahahahahaha! (too many to count)

  • NICE! (also too many to count)

  • OMD, I freaking love this!!! (several times)

  • F*cking hell! Tea! Everyf*ckingwhere!

Mistle-Ho is the first novel in the Cape Coral Swamp Cats: Rugby and Romance series, is 100% standalone readable, but takes place in Josie Watts’s Sweet Side community. And the hilarity there is pretty fantastic, so I definitely recommend diving into those, too. You’ll meet several Sweet Side characters in Mistle-Ho, and yeah, you’re gonna want their stories too. But, you can read Mistle-Ho first and then dive into the Sweet Side Series
